READ THE RESULT CORRECTLY
Finding a number is not the same as validating it.
VATFind can surface a source-reported identifier from a company record. If your decision depends on current VAT-registration status, make a separate check with the relevant tax authority. For example, HMRC’s UK service requires the VAT number and cannot search by company name.
